Time Management is more than just managing our time; it is managing ourselves in relation to time. It is setting priorities that are in alignment with your desired results and taking charge of your situation and time utilization. It means changing those habits or activities that cause us to waste time. It is being willing to experiment with different methods and ideas to enable you to find the best way to make maximum use of time.

If you don’t have extreme clarity about the results you want in your business, you will not be able to effectively choose your highest payoff activities to focus on.

Kelly – This is something I struggle with all the time – I do really god for a while then a work gets really busy and it is so easy for us to slip back into old habits and manage our time REACTIVELY instead of PROACTIVELY and that just creates so much undue stress.

I am very happy to see you’re addressing the need to focus and have a clear vision of where you’re going to make sure your priorities and tasks are always in alignment with that vision and that you don’t get bogged down doing things that don’t fit that big vision.

Time is a high issue for me. I mean I have time to do it but I get so distracted. I start out with a plan then I look at my email and want to open up all these emails. Then I want to be on facebook and twitter. It has come to a point where I had to ask myself what am I doing right here? Is all this effort leading me closer to my desired outcome. When I can’t see the connection I know I am off track and need to change things. I am working on changing things right now. I want to find a balance by doing a few things well, so well that my business will not be so time consuming.
